CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has hired 14 technical engineers in its Technical Services Division offering added services to its property management clients in Hawaii. The new technical engineers were hired, trained and assigned to properties managed by CBRE on Oahu, Maui and Kauai.

CBRE explains these full time employees bring added value to its property management clients. The company began offering the services of CBRE technical engineering employees to clients as an alternative to outsourcing or using third party vendors.

The Technical Services Division positions are CBRE full time employees working as building chief engineers, engineers and maintenance technicians at properties managed by CB Richard Ellis Asset Services.

Nestor Longboy, Senior Project Manager, Asset Services says there are several advantages for the client, “First, CBRE provides a very high level of training to its employees worldwide. This provides for the best practices in Technical Services to be applied in each of the properties we manage. The client has the added assurance that CBRE has carefully screened and chosen people it wants to be employees of CBRE.”

The positions were created last October and CBRE expects to continue hiring as clients requests are received. Five added technical engineers are scheduled to be hired during the next quarter of 2011.
