CBRE Appoints Andres Albano Jr. to Head Government Real Estate Advisory Group

CB Richard Ellis has appointed Andres Albano Jr., Senior Vice President of CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (CBRE) to head the Government Real Estate Advisory Group in Hawaii.  Albano is also a member of the CBRE Investment and Consulting Group and will partner with the CBRE Public Institutions and Education Solutions team in Washington DC.

“The public sector is facing many fiscal challenges and Andy Albano’s deep experience with government real estate makes him a valuable resource for our clients,” said Joseph T. Haas, Senior Managing Director, CBRE.

Clients will include the federal agencies in Hawaii, the State of Hawaii, the county governments and the University of Hawaii.

Albano is an experienced commercial and residential real estate developer, consulting engineer and contractor, and recently served as the Vice Chairman of both the University of Hawaii Board of Regents and the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii. He currently leads the Hawaii team in marketing of Dole Food Company’s land portfolio on Oahu.

He will also collaborate with various specialty teams in the CBRE worldwide network of real estate professionals to provide value to public sector clients through the implementation of best practices, the identification of cost savings and the establishment of performance metrics.
