Greenwell joins CBRE as a Retail Specialist

CB Richard Ellis announced James “Kimo” Greenwell has joined the state’s largest commercial real estate firm as a senior associate. Greenwell will be part of the Wendell Brooks III team at CBRE in Hawaii and will focus on shop and store leasing as well as tenant relations.

The Brooks team specializes in retail and investment properties, corporate advisory services and corporate strategic planning for clients. Wendell Brooks III provides strategic planning and execution of the major expansion of Safeway in Hawaii which involves 7 distinct projects for Safeway on three islands.

“Our team is providing our clients service on nearly 2-million square feet of shopping center space in Hawaii and nearly 1.5-million square feet of new retail construction under development,” said Wendell F. Prior to joining CBRE, Greenwell worked for MW Group, Ltd. in Honolulu as a leasing manager. Previously he had been a sales associate at 1250 Oceanside Partners in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and a realtor associate at Coldwell Banker. He is a licensed real estate sales person in Hawaii.

Kimo Greenwell is a graduate of Punahou School and received a Bachelor of Science in General Business at the University of Denver. He received a Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University. He is on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium.
