Pacific Beach Hotel Holds and Beachfront Aloha for Japan Event

The Pacific Beach Hotel will host a gathering and invites everyone to contribute to the Aloha for Japan relief effort on Sunday, April 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the beachfront side of the hotel on Kalakaua Avenue.

All are invited to the gathering to enjoy the entertainment offered by Palani Vaughn and the King’s Own, Bruce Shimabukuro, Johnny Helem, Jeremy Hirokawa, juggler Greg Gabaylo, Leo Mitamura and walking beatbox Jason Tom. The gathering is free with two hours of free parking at the Pacific Beach Hotel.

One way for people to donate will be to bid on unique auction items donated by Pacific Beach Hotel tenants. The hotel is joining the statewide effort to provide some relief for the people of Japan struggling with the aftermath of the earthquake, tsunami and continuing nuclear plant damage.

There will be wonderful foods like Tofu Dessert and Mame Rice available from Aloha Tofu Factory. Aloha Center Café is providing Andagi, Maki Sushi, Spicy Edamame, Hot Dogs and Cookies. A water booth offered by Mahalo Water Company.

Laule‘a Spa has donated its massage and nail station for the evening.  And get a massage or get your nails done while enjoying everyone’s goodwill.

All donations collected go to the Aloha for Japan relief effort.
