Hawaii Pacific Federal Credit Union Donates 118 Gifts to Lokahi

Hawaii Pacific Federal Credit Union collected 118 presents of merchandise and gift cards for the 2010 Lokahi Giving Project. The number of gifts increased from 2009.

Hawaii Pacific Federal collected donations at its main branch in the Ala Moana Building, and Pearlridge and Ala Moana branches from November 1 to December 10, 2010.  A total of 86 gifts were collected and include clothes, toys, board games, bikes, scooters, cooking appliances, athletic equipment, laundry supplies and bathroom amenities. Thirty-two gift cards were donated and can be used at McDonalds, Times Supermarket, Taco Bell, Foodland, Walmart, Ala Moana Center, Pearlridge Shopping Center, Don Quijote, Jeans Warehouse, Zippy’s Restaurants, Long’s Drugs, and Consolidated Theatres.

“We are grateful and proud that our members collected more gifts this year than last year to help others in need during this holiday season,” said Mark Yamane, president of Hawaii Pacific Federal.

Hawaii Pacific Federal has been participating in the Lokahi Giving Project every year since 2002.
