Roundtree Brings More Than 35 Years of Experience in Marine Repairs and Maintenance
Hawaiian Tug & Barge/Young Brothers, Limited (HTB/YB) has promoted Steve Roundtree to Director of Fleet Engineering. He will be responsible for both shoreside and marine maintenance functions.
“Steve brings nearly four decades of experience and expertise in maritime maintenance to our company,” Young Brothers, Limited President Glenn Hong said.
Roundtree brings more than 35 years of experience in marine repairs and maintenance to HTB/YB. He joined HTB/YB in 2006 as Barge Port Engineer and was promoted to Manager of Marine Engineering in 2008 where he oversaw barge and tugboat maintenance. Prior to joining HTB/YB, he worked in the Seattle shipping industry with as Ship Superintendent and Operations Manager at Duwamish Shipyard, Ship Superintendent at Pacific Marine Repair, and as a Boilermaker at Todd Shipyard Corp.
Hawaiian Tug & Barge has been providing harbor support services that include ship assistance at all major ports in Hawaii, contract towing, charter tug and barge, and 24-hour dispatch.
