Solar Wave Will Now Offer PV Systems for Homes

Solar Wave announced today that it is now offering its turn-key PV system solutions to homeowners rather than just commercial clients. Since 2007, the company has been on the forefront of the commercial market providing solar solutions to clients such as C.S. Wo & Sons, Ltd., HomeWorld, Shipman Self-Storage and a number of schools including Punahou, Iolani, Mid-Pacific Institute and more.

“We are pleased to have been able to help so many local institutions and businesses with photovoltaic solutions to improve their energy efficiency,” said Solar Wave president and founder Wendell Choy. “Now, we look forward to taking all of the same knowledge and skills developed over the years on the commercial side and offer them to residential clients.”

Solar Wave is a direct importer and distributor of photovoltaic components in Hawaii with a convenient showroom located in Aiea. Customized PV system design is implemented by in-house electrical engineers who conduct the site surveys and is installed by in-house crews. Solar Wave also paves the way for the permit applications and coordinates the equipment procurement and installation processes.

“A few of the things that really sets us apart is our many years of experience on the commercial side and our ability to help customers through the entire process from financing, to planning and implementation,” said Randy Hiraki, Solar Wave general manager. “We are experts in financing the photovoltaic systems and maximizing the energy production from these systems to save customers the most money possible.

“Solar Wave is one of the few photovoltaic companies with a physical showroom to display the variety of systems available for our customers’ first-hand shopping. We are also one of the first Kamaaina photovoltaic providers in the state and plan to be around for a long time to serve our customers.” To learn more about Solar Wave Hawaii products and services visit www.solarwavehawaii.com
