More than 400 fifth-grade students from schools around Kauai learned about water awareness and conservation as part of the Make A Splash, Project WET, sponsored by ARDA-Hawaii, the timeshare association, and hosted by the Kauai Department of Water. The hands-on educational event, which is part of ARDA-Hawaii’s community service commitment to the Garden Isle, took place recently at Pua Loke Park.

Kauai students learned the value of water conservation first hand. The event provided Kauai students with 10 activity stations offering instruction in various aspects of water awareness and conservation and aspects of the environment, geology, health and science.
