Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Generational Award Winner and Outstanding Member of the Year
The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (HJCC), a 111 year-old business association boasting a membership representative of Hawaii’s business, government, and nonprofit leaders, will hold its Seventh Annual Generational Awards Banquet on July 9 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Waikiki. At the banquet, the HJCC will honor food service and restaurant supply wholesaler Y. Hata & Co., Ltd as this year’s recipient of the award, which is given to a family-owned business that has demonstrated a consistent commitment to community service and involvement with Chamber initiatives. Mark Ibara, President of print and digital marketing solutions provider Edward Enterprises, will also be recognized at the event as Outstanding Member of the Year, for his efforts in advancing the HJCC’s mission and goals.
The HJCC will also install its FY 2011-2012 officers and board of directors as part of the evening’s program, including Christine A. Kubota, of Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, Chair of the Board.
