Hawaii Homeowners Can Buy Sub-Zero/Wolf Appliances Direct from Showroom
California Closet Systems Introduced in Hawaii

Kent and Lori Untermann have opened Design Studio, located in the Sub-Zero/Wolf Showroom on the corner of Piikoi and King Street in Makiki. Homeowners will now be able to buy the quality Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking appliances and Asko washers, dryers and dishwashers directly from the showroom. In addition, the Untermanns will offer for the first time in Hawaii, the extensive California Closet Systems.

Kent and Lori Untermann, who are well known for their custom frames at Pictures Plus stores, are expanding their quest to make Hawaii homes more beautiful. They have opened Design Studio, in the Sub-Zero/Wolf Showroom on the corner of Piikoi and King Street in Makiki. Homeowners will now be able to buy the quality Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking appliances and Asko washers, dryers and dishwashers directly from the showroom. In addition, the Untermanns will offer for the first time in Hawaii, the extensive California Closet Systems. The showroom is 4,400 square feet and features two stories full of displays.

“Design Studio is an extension of the custom work we deliver to our Pictures Plus customers,” said founder Kent Untermann. “Now they can also order custom cabinets, closets, and kitchens from us with the high quality brands – Sub-Zero, Wolf, Asko and California Closet Systems from a single location,” he continued. “For the first time in Hawaii, homeowners can buy Sub-Zero refrigeration appliances and the Wolf cooking appliances directly from the showroom, ” Untermann continued. “We’re thrilled to be located at the most beautiful showroom in the state.”

At the same time, the Untermanns are opening Pictures Plus Home, at a new location near Macy’s at Kahala Mall. The new store will offer Picture Plus frames and home decorations, California Closet Systems and information about Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

Riggs Distributing is an independent distributor of Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking and Asko water products in Hawaii. Headquartered in Burlingame, California, Riggs Distributing has had a local distributor and full-servicing facility in Hawaii since 1993.

The Design Studio showroom is located at 938 Piikoi Street, at the corner of King and Piikoi Streets.
