ARDA-Hawaii’s Annual Golf Tournament Set for Friday, September 28
Benefit Raises Scholarship Funds for HPU Travel Industry Management Students
The American Resort Development Association of Hawaii’s (ARDA-Hawaii) Eighth Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012, at the 18-hole championship Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 11 a.m. Mitchell A. Imanaka is chairman of the event with tournament proceeds benefiting the Steve Hirano Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is given to outstanding Travel Industry Management students at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU).
The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s famous flight demonstration squadron, who are at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base for weekend performances, may fly over the tournament while practicing for their scheduled performances.
