Hirae Brings Nearly 30 Years of Financial Management Experience

Hawaii Pacific Federal Credit Union has hired Mark Hirae as Loan Manager. He will be responsible for overseeing and managing Hawaii Pacific Federal’s loan programs including the review and development of policies and procedures, and the development of strategies to promote loan portfolio growth and quality.

“We are very happy to have Mark as our loan manager,” said Hawaii Pacific Federal Credit Union President Mark Yamane. “He brings extensive experience in loan and branch management and has already provided great leadership to Hawaii Pacific Federal,” he continued.

Prior to joining Hawaii Pacific Federal, Hirae worked at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union for 20 years where he held various positions including Vice President of Loan Administration, Vice President of Branch Administration, Branch Manager and Loan Review Officer. His previous work also includes consultant for GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company and Senior Loan Officer at American Savings & Loan, in addition to management positions at other Hawaii-based financial institutions.
