Pacific Beach Hotel Appoints Ed Saunders as Director of Rooms

Saunders Brings 25 Years of Hawaii Hotel Management Experience

The Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki has appointed Ed Saunders as Director of Rooms at the hotel after a management position at a former property of the HTH Corporation, the Pagoda Hotel.

Saunders has worked for HTH Corporation since his college days at the University of Hawaii, starting as a bellman in 1985. He worked in several management positions at Pagoda and was appointed general manager in 2003 until the hotel was sold in October 2010.

“Ed Saunders allows the Pacific Beach Hotel to continue providing the relaxed aloha spirit to our kama‘aina guests,” said Grayce McCullough, Corporate Director of Public Relations and Communications. “His loyalty and dedication to our hospitality philosophy will make this transition smooth and effortless for guests and employees.”

Saunders is a graduate of Damien Memorial School and earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
